Interview With DYNASTY INC.
As the show opened, APW mascot Miss Cherry Bomb came out
doing her fire eating routine and handing out free merchandise to the fans. However,
Dynasty Inc. didn't want to see anymore of this, so they took it upon themselves to come
out and put an end to it. Shane Dynasty announced that he no longer needed the services of
ICEBOX as his bodyguard, and blamed him for Maxx Justice's title loss to Vinny Massaro in
May. Dynasty named Little Dy-Nasty Boy, who came to the ring carrying a garbage can, as
his new bodyguard.
Miss Cherry Bomb wanted to get on with the show, so she tried to pass out the APW shirts
again. Jason Deadrich told Cherry Bomb that the fans didn't want APW shirts, but they
would rather have TWD shirts (the shirt's Dynasty made to promote his "Total World
Domination" campaign). Jason tried to grab Cherry Bomb's bag away from her, and they
began arguing. As Cherry Bomb tugged at the bag of shirts, Jason let go and she fell down.
Dynasty Inc. got a good laugh out of that. They all surrounded her and Maxx Justice slowly
approached her. However, to everyone's suprise, Nathaniel Sweete walked out of the locker
room to see what was going on. When he saw Cherry Bomb curled in a corner, he jumped in
the ring, stood between her and Justice, and told Dynasty Inc. to leave her alone. Was
this the same Nathaniel Sweete we had known for the past year now? Apparently not. When
Deadrich questioned his sexuality, Sweete fired back at him, saying that it was all a
gimmick that Deadrich was making him play. This angered Dynasty Inc, and Maxx Justice
grabbed Sweete by the throat. Cherry Bomb was back on her feet, and she jumped on
Justice's back. However, big Maxx simply flipped her onto her back and grabbed Sweete
again. This time, there was no escape. Sweete went up, and then went straight back down.
Chokeslam! He turned his attention to Cherry Bomb, who knew the right way to escape...a
kick to the family jewels! Justice crumpled into a ball as Cherry Bomb made her escape.
Justice turned into a madman. He powerbombed Sweete & let APW's Damage Control take
his broken body away on a stretcher, and then went running to the back looking for Cherry
Bomb.

Chicano Flame
vs
"Fly Daddy" Jardi
Frantz
(with The Mack Daddy XXXPress)
This match was between the student & his former mentor, whom he betrayed. They
wrestled a pretty solid match, hilighted by Frantz' crazy highflying. Jimmy Ripp &
Tony Jones played a big role at ringside, jumping all over Flame everytime he fell out of
the ring. Frantz shocked the crowd with a somersault dive over the ropes onto Flame early
in the match. The momentum went back & forth, however in the end Chicano Flame showed
his experience when he rolled Frantz up in a small package for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Chicano Flame ( * * )

Perez Challenges Watkins
James Watkins came to the ring, ready to take on Nathaniel Sweete. However, it was
announced that Sweete had been injured by Maxx Justice & he would not be wrestling
tonight. It looked as though Watkins would be getting his first pro victory as a result of
a forfiet. However, JJ Perez came out and said he didn't have an opponent, and he would be
happy to wrestle Watkins tonight. Although he has only wrestled a few months, Perez is
making a name for himself by proving he isn't afraid to take on anyone at anytime.

"Mad Mosher"
Boom Boom Comini
vs
Chris "PsYcHo" Ward

This wasn't even a contest. Ward never got his straight-jacket off, and Comini absolutely
crushed him. The 330 pound Comini finished him off with a big splash for the pin. It looks
like unless Ward can get a doctors note that says he doesn't have to wear the
straight-jacket anymore, he won't be having much luck in the ring.
Winner: Boom Boom Comini ( * )

Frank Murdoch Announcement
"Filthy" Frank Murdoch came out dressed in a suit and ready to make an
announcement. Murdoch commented on the wrestling industry today, and how much it has
changed since he started. Murdoch is a 12 year veteran, and a wrestling purist. He doesn't
like today's style, which he called "Professional Playfighting". Unfortunatley,
Murdoch feels that even though wrestling is at an all-time high in popularity...it's not
the same wrestling he knows. He doesn't like seeing guys "fly around the ring like
monkeys". He told a story about wrestling in another state, where he had never even
met his opponent until the opening bell, he compared that to today's wrestling where every
move is pre-determined, and guys wrestle the same canned matches all over the place.
Murdoch said APW was the last good wrestling promotion, but fans don't want to see
wrestling, they want to see "playfighting & professional grab-ass". There
isn't enough money for him to continue, and in the saddest moment in APW history, APW
LEGEND, Frank Murdoch called it quits.
He had been with APW since the beginning, and it is very sad to see Murdoch walk away from
wrestling. He isn't turning his back on the sport he loves, because it turned it's back on
him long ago.

"Mr. Electricity" Vinnie Valentino
vs
"Shoot Daddy" Tony
Jones
(with The Mack Daddy XXXPress)
This was a very good match, just as everyone thought it would be. Jones & Valentino
are two very solid wrestlers, and they fought hard in this match. Jones suplexes only get
better, as he tossed Valentino all around the ring. The match went back and forth, very
exciting match, as the fans were totally behind Valentino. However, the match was cut
short when JJ Perez got into the ring and jumped on Tony Jones. Referee Matt Fischer
called for the bell, and awarded the victory to Jones by DQ. The XXXPress were happy with
the win, but they wanted to get their hands on Perez. JJ jumped out of the ring and into
the crowd. The guardrail was the only thing seperating The XXXPress & him. Perez said
that the XXXPress may have the size advantage, but he had the fans behind him. Perez'
music played and all the fans cheered "Jiggy" Jack, as Jimmy Ripp & his Mack
Daddy's walked away.
Winner: Tony Jones ( * )

"Jiggy" Jack Perez
vs
James Watkins
A very fast paced match, as Perez had control most of the time.
Perez is so exciting in the ring, you never know what he is going to do next. Watkins put
up a good effort, and everytime he took advantage he would try to slow the pace of the
match down. However, he got caught off-guard when he went for a backdrop & Perez hit
him with a flying piledriver. Amazing move never before seen! I think i will call it the
"Jack-ed Up" Piledriver
Winner: JJ Perez ( * * 1/2 )
Perez / Watkins Aftermath
The Mack Daddy XXXPress made their way to the
ring, trying to get their hands on JJ Perez, however, once again he was too quick for
them. He pointed out a fans sign that said "You Suck" and told Ripp it applied
to him & his XXXPress.
James Watkins got the mic and said that if he couldn't even beat someone as small as JJ
Perez, he didn't belong in this business. Watkins tossed the mic down, and walked out
through the front door. If Watkins decides to never come back, i think that is a huge loss
for APW, as he had a lot of potential, he just needs some guidance.

"Funboy" Donovan Morgan
vs
"Big Buffalo" Mark Smith
This was a very good match. Smith is another rookie that has a very bright future
with APW. Donovan Morgan is one of APW's finest, and Smith was hanging tough with him for
the entire match. Morgan can just about do it all, however in this match, it was the
"Big Buffalo" with the weight advantage, taking away a lot of Morgan's offense.
The fans were behind Smith 100%, and as the momentum of the match see-sawed back and
forth, Mark Smith suprised Morgan with a vicious clothesline coming out of the corner. He
sent Morgan's head crashing down onto the mat. Smith went for the pin, and got a three
count! Nobody could believe the huge upset that had just happened. Morgan, the former APW
Universal Champion had been pinned cleanly in the middle of the ring by rookie Mark Smith.
Smith is definatley making his case for rookie of the year, and it will be interesting to
see if any of the other rookies can pull off a win this big.
Winner: Mark Smith ( * * * )

APW UNIVERSAL TITLE 4 CORNERS MATCH
"La Migra" Maxx Justice (with
Dynasty Inc.)
vs
"Bad Boy" Boyce
LeGrande
vs
"Gigolo" Vinny Massaro (with
Vanity)
vs
"Natural One"
Michael Modest
This match was everything that we expected, and more. Definatley the match of the year.
This is the first match i have ever given 5 Stars!!! All four men were brilliant in this
match. The double team moves were awesome, the psychology was perfect, just an all around
great match.
All four men did just about every move they knew, and showed us a few new ones as well
(with Boyce's "Flipping Stunner" being my favorite of the night). There is no
way that i could recap everything that happened, so i will just tell you to go buy the
tape of this match.
Shane Dynasty & Jason Deadrich were banned from the building, however, Little Dynasty
Boy was hiding under the ring, and he came out later on in the match, to root on Justice.
But with Dynasty & Deadrich gone, things were going to be a little more even now.
The first man eliminated was Vinny Massaro about 29 minutes into it. He was pinned when
Boyce hit him with an amazing "Bad Boy Blockbuster" while Vinny was on the 2nd
turnbuckle! This left LeGrande, Modest & Justice in the match.
Maxx Justice & Michael Modest teamed up to eliminate Boyce at the 36 minute mark with
an UNREAL chokeslam in which Justice was standing on Modest's back! Boyce's head snapped
when it hit the mat, knocking him out, and leaving Justice & Modest as the final two
men in the ring.
Two masked men made their way into the crowd, finding seats at ringside and cheering on
Maxx Justice. The fans tried to point out that it was Dynasty & Deadrich wearing
masks, however it was too late. They jumped the guardrail, and once again they were right
back at ringside cheering on their man. However, out of the dressing room came Mark Smith.
He chased Deadrich & Dynasty around the ring. Things were now even again, and Modest
could concentrate on pinning Justice and becoming the champion.
However, Modest accidently hit Referee Matt Fischer while trying to get Justice. Fischer
was knocked out, and there was no official in the ring. Modest hit the Downward Spiral on
Justice, but nobody was there to make the count. Modest then grabbed Little Dynasty Boy
and hit him with an amazing Death Valley Driver from the 2nd turnbuckle! Little Dynasty
Boy went flying, and was knocked out completley. Mark Smith got in the ring to cheer on
Modest, but as Modest got up, Smith suprised everyone by clotheslining Modest! Smith left
the ring, and just as Fischer woke up Justice covered Modest and got the three count.
Maxx Justice was once again the APW Universal Champion. Justice is now the first ever
5-Time APW Champion, and once again Dynasty Inc. tricked everyone in the building.
Winner: Maxx Justice ( * * * * * )
4 Corners Aftermath
Mark Smith stood on Modest's beaten body and put on a
TWD shirt. He was now a part of Dynasty Inc., and they kept reffering to him as
"Bison". Dynasty Inc. smacked Modest around some more, until Vinny Massaro,
Boyce LeGrande, Cherry Bomb & Nathaniel Sweete came out to make the save & chase
of the TWD Crew.
Modest got the mic and made a challenge to Dynasty Inc. Modest wants Justice one on one,
no interference, no screwjob endings. The challenge was, if the 5-Man Team of Modest,
LeGrande, Massaro, Sweete & Cherry Bomb can beat the 5-Man Team of Justice, Smith,
Deadrich, Dynasty & Little Dynasty in a Survivor Series Rules Match...any member of
Team Modest would recieve a title shot against Justice in any stipulation they choose
(cage match, strap match etc.). On the other hand, if Team Dynasty wins, then one of their
men will recieve a stipulation title match against Modest for the Internet Championship.
Both sides agreed to the stipulation, and next time APW is in San Jose's Silver Creek High
School, the 5 on 5 Survivor Series style match will take place.
The show ended with chairs & garbage cans flying everywhere as both sides got into
another scuffle. Massaro hit Smith with a chair, and Modest tossed a garbage can at
Dynatsy Inc. The teams were seperated by APW's Damage Control, and the show was over.

Jermz Thoughts
A very good show with great angles. The last half of the show was great. The main event
may have been the best live match i have ever witnessed. Those four are fantastic, and
they worked great together. Boyce is still getting better, if you can believe that, and i
believe he is definatley one of the Top 25 Indy wrestlers in the country.
Great to see pushes for Cherry Bomb, Nathaniel Sweete & Mark Smith. JJ Perez is still
playing the role of the Giant Killer, and it looks like James Watkins will be taking some
time off. Frank Murdoch's announcement was truly a sad one. It is very hard to face the
truth, but he didn what he had to do, and walked away from doing what he loves. His final
match will be July 24th at Bally's Fitness Center in Hayward. That is the free show APW is
putting on to celebrate the opening of the Center. Good luck to Frank in whatever he
chooses to do...i will be supporting him all the way, and he will always be welcomed back
in APW.
