Interview with
"Mack Daddy" Jimmy Ripp & The Mack Daddy XXX-Press

The Mack Daddy XXX-Press started the show off, as they do most APW shows, letting
the fans know what's on their minds. Ripp talked up his man Tony Jones, letting everyone
in the building know that just because it was the big homecoming for the
"PsYcHo", Chris Ward wasn't in for an easy night. He also talked about how you
never know what he is going to do next, and he might just suprise everyone here tonight.
Once Ripp was finished insulting the crowd, he walked to the back with his hands raised
high, and his "Mack Daddy" music blasting over the loudspeakers. Cholo Marquez
& Tony Jones followed close behind. The fans were sure that they would be hearing more
from this bunch before the night was done

14-Man Battle Royal
Paulie, from local sports radio station Ticket 1050am was the special guest ring announcer
for this match, and he had his whole crew at ringside. A fantastic Battle Royal started
off the wrestling action. This match marked the debut of two APW rookies. "Big
Buffalo" Mark Smith & "Chief" J. Watkins. These two held their own
against the much more experienced APW big boys, with Smith remarkably lasting to the final
seven. However, after one of the favorites to win the match, Michael Modest was eliminated
by being dropkicked off the top rope by Chicano Flame 2, it left the final three. Maxx
Justice & The Chicano Flames. Justice was in control. He gave Flame1 a monkey-flip
that sent him up into the lights! He gave Flame2 a backdrop that almost sent him through
the roof! "La Migra" was showing no mercy on the Flames, and he hit them both
with vicious chokeslams & monster powerbombs!
Justice didn't want to end it yet. He went outside the ring, got a steel chair and brought
it in. He was going to try to put the Flames out of wrestling. However, Flame2 caught him
from behind and dropkicked the chair into Justice's face. Maxx went over the top rope,
leaving The Chicano Flames as co-winners of the 14-Man Battle Royal. Or at least that is
what everyone thought.
While they held each other's hands up in victory, Flame2 shocked everyone in the building
by spin-kicking his older cousin, Original Flame. He then tossed him over the top rope,
and was declared the lone winner of the Battle Royal. What was going on? Fans couldn't
believe it. Then out of the dressing room came "Mack Daddy" Jimmy Ripp. Ripp and
Flame2 hugged in the middle of the ring, proving that Jimmy Ripp had once again fooled us
all. Ripp rubbed it in everyones face, saying that he said he would have a suprise, and
here it was. The newest member of the Mack Daddy XXX-Press, Chicano Flame # 2.
Winner: Chicano Flame 2 ( * * * 1/2 )

Introduction of Ticket 1050am Morning Crew
Ring announcer Alan Bolte announced that the morning crew from Ticket 1050am
(Cue-Ball, Wang & Paulie) was in attendance, and they all got into the ring. While
they started hyping the show, a guy from the audience who looked to be in pretty good
shape, started yelling at them.
The radio guys told security that they knew him, and to let him in the ring. I guess he
was a regular caller, that bashed wrestling on a regular basis. He got in the ring, and
got into the ring and started arguing with the 1050 guys. Then he shoved one of the guys
(Wang?) right out of the ring! APW security wrestled the guy to the ground and tossed him
out immediatley. It took a few minutes to restore order. Listen to Ticket 1050am every
weekday morning and they will possibly be talking about this incident

Chris
"PsYcHo" Ward
vs
"Shoot-Daddy" Tony
Jones
(with The Mack Daddy XXXPress)
The "PsYcHo" is back!!! Chris Ward looked very good in his first match back in
an APW ring, since being let out of a mental hospital in Nevada. He had a tough task on
his hands, and he proved that he hadn't lost a step. Jones came out with Jimmy Ripp, Cholo
Marquez and the newely acquired Chicano Flame # 2. Jones really worked over Ward good
throughout the entire match. He tossed just about every suplex in the book, and used his
size to overpower Ward throughout the match. Ward would mount some offense, and suprised
Jones with a belly-to-belly suplex coming off the ropes. This was a very good match, and
it looks like both guys have been working hard lately. Jimmy Ripp, Flame2 & Cholo
Marquez were at ringside, and they distracted Ward a few times, helping Jones take
control. "Shooter" backed Ward into a corner & began kicking him. Referee JJ
Perez warned Jones to let Ward out of the corner, but Jones kept stomping. Finally, Perez
had no other choice but to call for the bell. Chris Ward was declared the winner by
disqualification.
Winner: Chris Ward ( * * * )
Ice Cold Saves The Day

The XXX-Press was outraged at the referee's decision, and decided to take matters into
their own hands. The XXX-Press started stomping a hole in the battered Ward. But security
guard Steve Stoneburg jumped in the ring to restore order. He kicked Ripp in the stomach
and gave him the "Ice Cold" Stunner...that sent Jimmy Ripp OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!
Fans went wild as Stoneburg cleared the ring. He got the mic and talked about how he was
tired of setting up the ring, and setting up chairs. He said his favorite wrestler was
WWF's "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and he was ready to rid APW of all the guys who
disobey the rule book.

Chicano Flame 1 Interview
Chicano Flame # 1 came out, and got the mic, he called Flame2 back and asked him what was
wrong with him. CF1 couldn't believe that he would associate with people like Ripp &
The XXX-Press. CF2 seemed to have a real chip on his shoulder all of a sudden, and pretty
much ignored the plea to rethink his decision. CF1 wanted a piece of his younger cousin so
bad, that he agreed to put his mask on the line. Jimmy Ripp agreed to the stipulation for
his man, and it was set. Later on in the show, The Chicano Flames would fight it out, and
the loser must unmask!!

Interview with Dynasty Inc.
Shane Dynasty & his Total World Domination crew (aka Dynasty Inc) came out for an
interview. Dynasty, Maxx Justice, "Mr.20%" Jason "Style &
Substance" Deadrich and 400lb. ICEBOX made up this group. Dynasty went on a rampage
about how Justice would still be the APW Universal Champion by the time the night was
over, and Michael Modest would never get another shot at the title. Dynasty also talked
about how he was going to take over APW one wrestler at a time. The fans booed Dynasty, as
he stood in the ring and gave one of his top interviews ever. In my opinion, these guys
look so good together it's scary. These guys are what wrestling "bad guys" are
all about.

"Mad Mosher" Boom Boom Comini
vs
"Enforcer" Jason C. Clay
Two guys trying to climb back up the ladder here. Clay looked good, but he still seems to
be feeling the effects of being kicked out of the XXX-Press. If Clay gets his head
straight, he could be a threat for a title. However, on this night, it was all Boom Boom
Comini. The "Mad Mosher" toyed with the "Enforcer", and finished him
off with a big splash that shook the entire building.
Winner: Boom Boom Comini ( * * 1/2 )

El Chicano Flame
vs
El Chicano Flame #2
(with The Mack Daddy XXX-Press)
This was one of the best matches of the night.
Of course, with these two being related, it showed how good they know each other. The fans
were into this match probably more than any match on the card. Everyone was rallying
behind CF1, as they all wanted to see the cocky CF2 get his mask ripped off. This was
probably the best match either of these guys has had thus far in their career.
CF2 showed his usual high-flying skills, with moves like a double-jump asai moonsault, and
even going for (but missing) a shooting-star press.
CF1 used his experience and quick thinking to get himself out of jams, and turn the tables
everytime he was on the verge of losing.
This was just a very good match, and i highly
recommend this one for anyone who is a fan of Lucha Libre style or even US style
wrestling.
CF1 nailed the younger & smaller Flame with the flying forearm off the middle rope,
and then locked him up in the Tequilla Sunrise! Jimmy Ripp tried to get in the ring to
break the hold, but he was too late. CF2 had already tapped out, and Original Flame proved
that experience can beat youth anyday.
Winner: Chicano Flame # 1 ( * * * 1/2 )
Post Match Mayhem
Jimmy Ripp tried everything he could think of to get out of removing CF2's mask. He even
said that if he took the mask off, all the women in the building might faint if they saw
how handsome he was. Referee JJ Perez told Ripp he better remove the mask right now. Ripp
couldn't get out of this one, so he went to his way of doing things. He kicked Perez in
the stomach, and then hit him with a powerbomb! The fans couldn't believe Ripp would beat
up a referee. Ripp then mocked WWF's "The Rock", by going for the "People's
Elbow", however referee JJ Perez rolled out of the way, leaped to his feet, and
started pounding away on Ripp! Fans went wild as the referee JJ Perez was fighting back.
He hip-tossed the "Mack Daddy" and then hit him with a few dropkicks. Perez had
enough, and was tired of being bullied around. He then shocked the whole building by
hitting a hurricarana on Ripp! Where did this come from? Where was this little referee
getting this from? CF2 nailed Perez from behind and started beating on him. Meanwhile,
Tony Jones was holding back CF1. CF2 rammed his elbow right into Perez' mouth, and then
went for a clothesline. Perez ducked, and came back with a clothesline of his own. Then
some more dropkicks! Perez had taken out both Jimmy Ripp & Flame 2. Perez decided to
remove the mask himself! He pulled it off the stunned Chicano Flame 2! Tony Jones then
attacked Perez from behind, but it was too late. Flame2's identity had been revealed to
everyone. Jones then hit Perez with a suplex that knocked the wind out of him. Out to the
rescue came Vinny Massaro & Boyce LeGrande, clearing the ring.
They held Perez high on their shoulders, and the fans cheered the courageous efforts of
the young referee

"Bad Boy" Boyce LeGrande
vs
"Filthy" Frank
Murdoch
Another match pitting youth against experience here. Murdoch showed that he can mat
wrestle with the best of them, as he tied LeGrande up into a pretzel with all the
submission holds, and cradle pin's he locked him up with. Boyce would try to mount some
high-flying offense, but Murdoch would take the match to the outside, and toss the
"Bad Boy" into the guard-rail. Murdoch was definatley living up to his nickname,
"Filthy" in this match. After about twelve minutes of action, Boyce LeGrande
caught Murdoch off guard by reversing a cradle, and rolling him up for a pin. Referee Matt
Fischer counted the three and Boyce LeGrandeoutsmarted & scored a huge victory against
one of the craftiest men in the sport today.
You can be sure that LeGrande is on his way back up the ladder, as he is quickly closing
in on another title shot against Maxx Justice.
Winner: Boyce LeGrande( * * * )

"Gigolo" Vinny Massaro
vs
"Man's Man" Nathaniel Sweete
Two former friends meeting one-on-one for the first time. Sweete impressed everyone by
wrestling a very solid match here. This was probably the second best match of the night.
Massaro is always fun to watch, as you never know what you are going to see. Tonights new
move was a walk along the top rope (ala The Underaker), and he jumped off landing with a
leg-drop across the arm of Sweete. Very effective move! Sweete has gained a little more
offense than last time he wrestled, and he pushed Massaro to the limit, even busting his
mouth open, and causing blood to flow. The "Gigolo", however, was not to be
outdone by his former valet. A spinning "X-factor" followed by a running
sit-down pedigree (OH MY GOD!!!), and then the pump-handle G-Spot Driver (the move that
left CF2 on a stretcher two months ago), was all it took for Massaro to put away Sweete.
Massaro now looks towards Pinole. Where he will be wrestling one of the most dangerous
matches of his young career. The Weapons Match against Frank Murdoch.
Winner: Vinny Massaro( * * * 1/2 )

"La Migra" Maxx Justice
(with Dynasty Inc.)
vs
"Natural One" Michael
Modest
(with mystery manager)
Dynasty Inc. was in full force, and Michael Modest decided to make a statement. To show
how scared he was of his opponent & his enterage' he decided to bring in a mystery
manager of his own. Modest introduced him as the "Nastiest man in town"...it was
"Mighty Midget" Little Nasty Boy!!! Nasty Boy came out carrying a Garbage can
full of weapons. Shane Dynasty couldn't believe that Modest wouldn't take them seriously,
and it even made Justice and his group more furious. The match was pretty good. It could
have went either way, but Justice seemed to be in control more than not, as his ringside
crew got involved on several occasions. Nasty Boy did what he could to keep the match as
fair as possible, but with Dynasty, Deadrich & ICEBOX at ringside, it was too much for
him to handle. Once Modest gained control of the match, he went to Nasty for some weapons.
He nailed Maxx with a cookie-sheet, a tea-pot & a metal bowl. Modest even hit Justice
with the Downward Spiral on a steel chair! Justice, however, overcame it all, and took
control again. He was outside the ring battling Modest, and Nasty Boy ended up inside the
ring with Dynasty. The much bigger Shane Dynasty was about to dispose of the Mighty
Midget, until a save was made, once again, by Steve Stoneburg! "Ice Cold's"
music played, and Dynasty turned around in dis-belief. A boot to the stomach by Stoneburg,
followed by a Little Nasty Boy Stunner! Dynasty was knocked out of the ring, and walked
back to the dressing room holding his head. Fans went wild as the odds were now moving
more and more over towards Modest. Just when fans started to celebrate, Justice came in
and chokeslammed Stoneburg, leaving him rolling around on the floor in pain. He then
chokeslammed referee Matt Fishcher, leaving no official to count the pin. Next to get the
chokeslam was Modest. Jason Deadrich climbed into the ring, and took off his jacket,
revealing a referee shirt! Justice chokeslammed Modest, and Deadrich counted the pin -
one...two... NO! Modest kicked out! Deadrich couldn't believe it! Modest mounted a
comeback and knocked Justice down. He nailed "Mr.20%" Jason Deadrich (still in
referee gear)with a Death Valley Driver!!! Fans went nuts! He then hit Justice with a DVD,
and went for the pin. Nasty Boy got in the ring...and he too was wearing a referee
shirt!!! Modest was three seconds away from beoming the new APW Universal Champion. Nasty
Boy counted one...two...but wait...Nasty wasn't counting the final count. He started
laughing at Modest, and just as Modest was questioning what he was doing...ICEBOX came in
the ring and attacked Modest from behind! Nasty Boy had turned on Modest, and he was now
alone! ICEBOX chokeslammed Modest, and then hit him with a HUGE 400 pound splash. Justice
rolled ontop of Modest, and Nasty Boy counted the three. Maxx Justice was still the APW
Universal Champion.
Fans left in disbelief of what they had just seen. Modest was double-crossed by Little
Nasty Boy, and his title shot went down the drain.
Winner: Maxx Justice( * * * 1/2 )

Jermz Thoughts
A very good show, filled with lots of great angles and storylines. This is the first APW
House Show to have this many angles played out at one time. Non-stop action. Every match
was solid, with the best three being Flame/Flame2, Massaro/Sweete & The Battle Royal.
LeGrande/Murdoch, Ward/Jones & Modest/Justice were also very good matches. Not a dull
moment in the show, and it really has me looking forward to Pinole this Saturday night.
The fans were into just about everything that happened, espeically the angle with the
Flames.
As far as the Ticket 1050am thing goes, i don't know what was up with that. It seemed like
a "shoot", because of the way the security roughed the guy up and tossed him out
immediatley. And i don't think radio station guys would take time to learn how to take
bumps, and the shove that put the guy ouside the ring looked pretty real. I don't know
though, we will see if there is anymore to this in the coming weeks.
New moves from Massaro, great to see Ward back, a great performance all night by Jimmy
Ripp & tons of suprises. Great show. Next show is this Saturday Night in Pinole.
