Pro Wrestling has lost another LEGEND! The wrestling world is shocked over the death of Japanese pro wrestling legend, Mr. Mitsuharu Misawa. The wrestling world will mourn his death and later miss him but in some of our minds, he will always be alive probably wrestling in that big sky above with many other great wrestling legends.
On behalf of everyone at All Pro Wrestling, we’d like to share our condolences with the family, friends and fans of Japanese Pro Wrestling Legend and President of Pro Wrestling Noah, Mr. Mitsuharu Misawa. Mr. Misawa just may have been one of the top 5 or 10 pro wrestlers of all-time. He was declared dead on Saturday evening from an apparent heart attack in the ring after being given a back suplex in a tag team title match involving former Boot Camp graduate, Bison Smith. We would also like to offer our condolences and respect to all the pro wrestlers booked on the card the night he died. It had to be a traumatic experience to all the wrestlers on that show and especially to those involved in his match. I’m sure this is a traumatic experience to every wrestler that puts his body on the line because of their passion for this great game and to entertain the wrestling fans. Great risk is taken every time pro wrestler steps into the squared circle. Mr. Misawa would have been 47 this coming week. Feel free to share your thoughts with your comments below or on our message board.

Next week, various soon-to-be pro wrestlers will test to see if they have learned enough at the APW Boot Camp to move on to the next stage, the Advanced Fundamentals Semi-Pro Camp and a step closer to being thrust into the ring itself at a live Gym Wars event in front of the APW Faithful. The students receive a written test and an in-ring test. After the test, we take a week off to get ready for the JULY 2009 Pre-Camp Orientation to launch another camp.

Dylan Drake is approaching his six month anniversary as APW Universal Heavyweight Champion, and for the last six months Drake has withstood everything that The Association has thrown at him. From parking lot beat downs, to post match assaults, Dylan Drake has proven himself to have the heart of a true Champion and walked into the ring for each encounter with his head held high, sustained by the support of the APW Faithful who come to Gym Wars each and every month.
“Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe has not always been an individual to look up to, but ever since coming back to All Pro Wrestling he has been there for Dylan Drake every time he has been outnumbered. After coming off important wins against The Association in at the past few Gym Wars, Thronsotwe earned himself a shot at the Universal Heavyweight Championship, in a match that will take place on June 20.
Mr. Prime Time has also been in the corner of Dylan Drake since he captured the Universal Championship back in December. A former champion himself, MPT has stood shoulder to shoulder with Dylan Drake and Adam Thornstowe against the forces of The Association month after month, so much that he was rewarded with a chance to be the Number One Contender for the Universal Heavyweight Championship, a chance that didn’t end in his favor when he was disqualified accidentally by Thornstowe.
And now, June 20, 2009 7:00 pm in Hayward, California “Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe challenges the Universal Heavyweight Champion, Dylan Drake with a special guest referee in Mr. Prime Time. Don’t miss this match plus many others at APW GYM WARS!

The insane Basketball Playoffs has pitted the WWE against the NBA. While Vince McMahon scrambles to move Monday Night Raw to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and TNA attempts to convert “dejected WWE viewers” to TNA fans by offering a $10 discount to all those who now hold a cancelled Monday Night Raw ticket in Denver, All Pro Wrestling has issued this satement:
"The All Pro Wrestling Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to assure all of the APW Faithful who are looking forward to June 20's Gym Wars that this event will take place, and it will happen in the same location it happens every month: The APW Garage in Hayward California. All Pro Wrestling held a completely sold out show at the Salinas Valley Fair in King City that brought people to their feet with an exciting night of intense APW action.
In the opening contest, we saw the heavy hitting tag team of “The Hangman” Dalton Frost and “The Mountain from Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell take on Chicano Flame and “The Latin Dragon” Junior Morales. Chicano Flame’s Lucha background and Morales’s natural quickness outlasted the unmatched strength of Frost and Blackwell when Chicano Flame was able to get the pin on Larry Blackwell after a flying cross body!
Next, Kid Omega hit 2-0 in APW action over the weekend. Coming off the pinfall victory over Mr. Wrestling #4 on Friday’s Gym Wars, Omega was able to defeat another APW veteran, Vennis DeMarco, after connecting a viscious clothlesline and getting the three count.
The 2009 Young Lion’s Cup winner “The Real Deal” Dan Danielson teamed with Malachai to face “Out of Control” Matt Carlos and “Double D” Dave Dutra that ended with Malachai connecting his ferocious big boot and pinning Carlos.
Jeckles the Jester introduced APW to his new toy, Freckles, who accompanied the Freak to the ring. Jeckles went one on one with Corvus. Jeckles was able to grab a victory by catching Corvus’s high risk attempt with an inverted atmoic drop and pinning Corvus after a Joke-Slam.
In high flying Lucha Libre action, The Technicos with the injured La Parka Azteca defeated The Rudos!
The Lucha action continued when El Chupacabra faced APW Boot Camp Graduate Captain Calico. A back and forth, high flying match ended with Chupacabra connecting the Adios Bomb and catching the pin!
Markus Mac accompanied Nikki the NY Knockout to the ring when she took on 2009 Young Lions Cup competitor, Christina Von Eerie. Distracted by accidentally knocking Markus off the apron, Christina was able to catch Nikki off guard with a jawbreaker and get the pinfall victory!
The APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Dylan Drake put the championship on the line against “The Boss” Derek Sanders. Both APW Boot Camp Graduates kept the action going strong through to the end, Drake retained when Sanders tapped out to the Sharpshooter.
Finally, Mr. Wrestling #4 teamed with “Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe and Mr. Prime Time “MPT” to face The Association, “Old School” Oliver John, “Wrestling Personlified” Rik Luxury, and “The Nice Guy” Vinny Massaro. Bodies went flying over the top rope, and Mr. Wrestling #4 connected the running knee lift on Rik Luxury for the pinfall victory!
A great night of APW action blew the roof off of the Expo Building at the Salinas Valley Fair!
Join us June 20 back at the world famous APW Garage for Gym Wars!

Dylan Drake retained the Universal Heavyweight Championship by avoiding Oliver John’s Sharpshooter attempt and rolling him up with a small package!
JJ Perez then announced that Dylan Drake will defend the Universal Heavyweight Championship at June 20’s Gym Wars against “Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe! The special guest referee for this contest: MPT!
Jeckles the Jester and Malachai defeated Corvus and Johnny Plinko, when Malachai pinned Plinko after hitting his vicious Big Boot!
“The Boss” Derek Sanders pinned “Superstar” Elliot Fox with a Northern Lights Suplex. Fox showed tremendous heart throughout the entire contest.
“The Hangman” Dalton Frost pinned Chupacabra after the deadly Hangman’s Lariat.
Kid Omega surprised the entire Garage as the APW Faithful witnessed him catch Mr. Wrestling #4 off guard with a quick roll up for the win, as their teammates Junior Morales and Matt Carlos recuperated outside the ring after simultaneously going over the top rope.
“The Mountain from Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell was able to outlast the 2009 Young Lions Cup winner Dan Danielson once again. After Blackwell aimed for the still damaged ribs of Danielson, Blackwell was able to take advantage of the intense pain shooting through the body of Dan Danielson after completing an awe inspiring Japanese Suplex. Blackwell pinned Danielson after a Big Splash.
Adam Thornstowe and MPT defeated Vinny Massaro and Rik Luxury when Thornstowe superkicked the distracted Massaro, after Rik Luxury accidentally attempted to trip his partner. After the match, Massaro and Luxury had a heated exchange of blame, but ultimately put their differences aside.
Vennis DeMarco ended the APW career of Chris Cole by pinning Cole after smacking him with a loaded glove. Vennis attempted to add insult to injury by bringing in a chair to bid farewell to his defeated ex partner, but Mr. Wrestling #4 was able to make the save just in time. As thanks, Mr. Wrestling #4 was met with a Claw to the skull. Chris Cole saves #4 from blacking out by giving DeMarco a chair shot with all his might.
“Double D” Dave Dutra captured a victory against “Savior of Sins” Mike Rayne by pinfall with the “Double or Nothing”!
Tomorrow night, hard-hitting APW action comes your way in King City, California at the Salinas County Fair Grounds Expo Building. Tickets are only $5 with Fair Admission, with the first bell ringing at 9:00 pm! Check out the APW Booth during the Fair and meet your favorite APW stars.
