The 1st 30 to
45 days of training, you will start with basics. Amateur Wrestling
is a favorite because it allows those that never wrestled in high
school or in college to learn basic amateur wrestling. Amateur
Wrestling makes for great cardio and toughens you up in the ring.
During this time span, you will also work on cardio. Fans don't
realize how much cardio it takes to go 2 to 3 minutes in a pro
match. Wrestling is a thinking mans sport and when you are winded,
you can't think. You will also learn all your basic bumps in the
ring. You will even learn how to bounce the ropes in your first
few weeks because running the ropes and doing rope drills enhances
your cardio and timing. The
remainder of the 4 to 5 month camp, you will learn basic
fundamental pro wrestling. We will begin to build your arsenal
with holds, counters and takedowns and you will become a wrestling
machine.
Since repetition is the key to success, we
make most of our students go through this camp twice. It has been
a winning formula for 11 years, why change it. |
