UNITED STATES

WWF

Diesel and Razor Ramon coming back to the WWF? Remember, last time, Vinnie Mac took it on the chin and bit his tongue and planned and delivered some of the funniest and most entertaining Billionaire Ted Skits. Don't think Vinnie has not been just biding his time, knowing that soon, he will get his sweet revenge. And remember, the WWF television production is so much better than the WCW. They won't do the horrible job they did with the Sting/NWO stuff.

WCW

Congratulations to referee Mark Curtis (SMW fame) for his new job in WCW. I am surprised he did not end up in WWF where Jim Cornette ended up but nonetheless, his new job is deserving. I am sure Mark paid his dues in SMW and worked his tail off doing many of the behind-the-scent kind of things to help the SMW promotion. Congratulations Mark!

ECW

The plan right now is to build for the biggest show of the year on 11/16 as the November to Remember comes your way. It is almost definite this show will not be a pay-per-view. They need almost 4 months to properly market the pay-per-view.

USWA

Luna Vachon has returned to valet action in the USWA.

OTHER

Paul Alperstein's American Wrestling Federation held a press conference on 9/12 at the All-Star Cafe in New York to hype its new fall season broadcasts which begin nationally on 9/21. This group purchased television time in 45 of the top 50 markets. Some of the big names wrestling for this group are The Road Warriors, Greg Valentine, Tommy Rich, Sgt. Slaughter, Tito Santana, Bob Orton, Tom Zenk, Blacktop Bully, Charlie Norris and Missy Hyatt. This wrestling promotion will differ from other non-European promotions because they'll use the European and boxing rounds system. Look for this promotion to go just a little bit further than the UWF.

APW

All Pro Wrestling is hosting a live pro wrestling show in the Pacific Coast Sports gymnasium Saturday evening 10/5 at 8 p.m. All Pro Wrestling will be running regular live shows every 3 to 4 weeks out of their gymnasium.

All Pro Wrestling has its biggest event coming up, "Night of Champions and Legends". The tournaments to crown the Heavyweight Champion and Junior Heavyweight Champion will take place on Saturday, October 12th at 7 p.m. at the Johansen High School gymnasium in the city of Modesto, California. This is a fund-raiser to help raise money for the Stanislaus County Police Activities League. The Mighty Midget Wrestlers will be there. There will also be a 16 Man Battle Royal on this tremendous card. Most of the Northern California Wrestling Legends will be on hand to receive an award of recognition. Tickets can be obtained by calling (209) 526 - PALS. You can obtain General Admission tickets through Pacific Coast Sports and you can call them at (510) 785-8396.

JAPAN

Great Sasuke made his first public appearance since his head injury on 9/1, but he had to be helped around the arena in a wheelchair. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him in the ring again soon.

ALL JAPAN

Stan Hansen recently received a title match against Kenta Kobashi. When making his ring entrance, Stan did not play to the crowd and was very serious about what could be his last title shot. Stan is getting up there in years. I've been told this match was one heck of a match and probably Stan's best match in 3 years. This match is a must see match for those in the video trading market.

NEW JAPAN

Lots of injuries having an affect on the current tour. Great Sasuke - fractured skull, Scott Steiner - hip injury, Hawk - knee surgery. Scott Hall also cancelled as he apparently has the right to cut his own deal with New Japan. WCW had inadvertantly booked him on this tour.

SHOOTFIGHTING

Bas Rutten retained his King of Pancrase championship to headline Pancrase's third anniversary show on 9/7 at Tokyo Bay NK Hall. The show drew a standing room only crowd of 7,250 fans in the 7,000 seat arena.

MEXICO

AAA

The biggest show in company history using wrestlers from WCW, New Japan and WAR has been moved from 11/20 to 11/29 in Mexico City.

EMLL

Strictly rumor: EMLL strong-armed Vampiro and all I've heard is that his appearance at ECW is a no-go and this was caused by the jump of Vampiro to Promell. We'll have to wait and see until I can confirm. Stay tuned!
