Listen to what the experts have to say about All Pro Wrestling...

David Meltzer - Wrestling Observer Newsletter Editor
"...Their program is one of the most professional indy programs I've seen."

"Got a chance to see the local All Pro Wrestling show and it's basically a collection of guys trained at Roland Alexander's school in Hayward. The positives were the guys were well trained in building a match rather than just going out there and doing moves, and from an execution standpoint, they are way ahead of most indy workers I've seen."

"I left the ECW Arena with the same feeling that I have at every show I've attended from the promotion. It was a good show. The wrestlers worked very hard. A lot of thought was put into the storylines. And the wrestling itself is incredibly overrated in some circles. It's great independent wrestling, and that's a compliment because it's an independent level promotion. But a few weeks back I attended a local indy show at a gym in Hayward, CA (Editor's note: APW Gym Wars at All Pro Wrestling Gymnasium) and I can't say there was much of a difference overall when it came to work rate on the two shows. The guys take more risks than WWF or WCW guys and a few of them are better, but overall the level of work isn't at major league level. The local indy guys worked as hard as they could, some took risks, and threw some 90's moves. Their matches by and large built better and had more psychology. Overall, the real green guys on the Hayward indy were worlds away from being even the worst wrestler on the ECW show, but the guys with a little experience weren't that far off. Robert Thompson and Steve Rizzono worked a more solid match than anything at November to Remember with the exception of a match with a legend like Terry Funk or a wrestler with world class potential like Chris Candito (Editor's note: who by the way had a good match against Spike Dudley, who is a former wrestler for this local indie and a graduate of our top wrestling school). ECW had more blood, more broken tables, more low blows, more topes and more risks and God knows tons better storylines. But in doing so many spots with high margins of error, I also groaned ten times as much at the ECW Arena over missed spots than I did at the local show, and some of those guys had only five or six matches under their belt."

Cowboy Lang - Midget Wrestler - 27 years veteran
"I've been in this business 27 years and have traveled worldwide. This talented group of wrestlers look like they have 10 years experience and not 10 matches. This is definitely the best independent promotion I've wrestled for in the last 11 years. They are very well trained."

Red Bastien - Hall of Fame Wrestler
"They are well trained and way ahead of their time."

Chief Jay Strongbow - Ex Pro Wrestler/WWF Road Agent
"... you've got fundamental guys. They are well trained wrestlers..."

And what would wrestling be without it's fans?  Below is a sampling of the fan letters we've received.

"I've been very fortunate in the past 15 years to have seen the WWF, WCW, SMW, and AWA in person, as well as other really bad indies. All Pro Wrestling has some of the best wrestling talent I've ever seen. After seeing this promotion in person, it made me realize how stale and repetitive the WWF, WCW and other organizations really are. If anyone was a fan of the old style of wrestling but with new faces, I very strongly recommend seeing this promotion in action." - Melody Seymour

"Just a quick note expressing to you on what I think is an excellent job done by APW. APW in my opinion is worthy of Nationwide recognition for its incredible work. Your shows are top notch from the bottom to the top, entertaining and mind stimulating, the way wrestling shows should be. Watching my APW tapes ( Live in NY, still aspiring to get out to California to see a live APW) gives me a feel on how a wrestling show should be booked.

Just wanted to drop you a congratulatory letter on this excellent product that is APW.

I wish you luck in finding a TV outlet as I honestly feel this would propel you to awesome heights. The Boot Camp talent is something fresh and exciting, and watching the old mainstays such as Modest and Morgan gives you a good feeling. Once again Roland, Kudos to you." - Brad Osoba

"I just got done watching APW here in Merced and I must say....it was great. This was my first APW event and my little sisters first ever wrestling event. It could not have been a better night.

I want to take this time to thank APW and their local promoter for making this happen.

I also want to say thank you to Michael Modest. He took a picture with my sister during intermission, and still remembered her name later on when she asked for an autograph. This may not sound like much but remember it was her first show. Even though she is in her teens that one little act really excited her and made her feel like part of the show.....THANK YOU MICHAEL!!"
