(WWE) has signed former APW Universal Heavyweight Champion KAFU to a developmental deal.Those who know KAFU in this industry can tell you that this is well deserved and it could of not gone to a more genuine person. All Pro Wrestling will miss KAFU but we are more than excited to see what the future holds for him. If I were to list the names of top indy wrestlers whom mainstream fans may not be aware of, but very well should if they call themselves hardcore, one of the first names on that list would be Cheerleader Melissa.
Having recently won ChickFight VII in Norfolk, England, only a few months after securing her first ChickFight tournament in its home base of San Francisco, Cheerleader Melissa has definitely proven her talent and capability around the world. Her training background includes teachers Christopher Daniels, Brian Danielson and Robert Thompson, as well as stints in California’s All Pro Wrestling and three months of touring and training with Arsion in Japan.
ChickFight has been her home promotion, and she has been involved in all seven of the promotion’s events, which typically features an eight woman tournament, with top flight talent from around the globe. Those DVD’s are available through www.chickfight.tv, for a price ranging from $9.95 to $14.95. For fans of tournament style action, no promotion currently does a better job in booking, and the quality of the DVDs is exceptional.
APW Superstars took part in a Lucha Libre show this past Saturday night at the St. Elizabeth Gymnasium in Oakland. A packed house of nearly 600 fans came out for the show. It was a fun night for all involved. Below are the results of the APW wrestlers that took part.

APW Superstars “The Brazilian Beast” KAFU, “Mr. Primetime” MPT, “Old School” Oliver John, and “Asian Sensation” Dana Lee all are set to tour Portugal. We are all very proud of them and wish them the very best.

All Pro Wrestling SuperStar KAFU was a part of the ECW television tapings in Fresno, as he and a partner took on “Big Daddy V”. This marks KAFU’s second television appearance this year for WWE and in addition with the television tapings he is doing in Puerto Rico for IWA, KAFU is well on his way.
Oliver John was trained by pro wrestling legend Paul DeMarco a former U.S. Heavyweight Champion and World Tag Team Champion. Since Oliver joined APW, he has captured the APW UNIVERSAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP and has been added to the impressive Pro Camp Trainer Team of J. J. Perez and MPT to form one of the greatest Trainer Tag-Teams in the U.S.
Former APW Universal Heavyweight Champion “The Brazilian Beast” KAFU returns to IWA in Puerto Rico to continue his rampage in the promotion. KAFU will take on former WWE Superstar Savio Vega in a big grudge match. We wish KAFU nothing but the best.
