During the main event of APW GYM WARS on July 12, 2008, Mr. Wrestling #4, the “Asian Sensation” Dana Lee, and Dylan Drake defeated “The Association” in a six man tag team match. We here at All Pro Wrestling, home of the APW Boot Camp, where future legends are born, would like to take this opportunity to congratulate The voice of All Pro Wrestling, Markus Mac on a successful European Tour with Nu Wrestling Evolution (NWE). Markus returned home recently from his three week tour, eager to return again. Markus had the opportunity to work in front of crowds between 3,000 and 17,000 screaming rabid fans. Below is the link to a video package that highlights the main event of the biggest show on the tour. In the main event, it was NWE Champion Orlando Jordan defending his title against the former WWE Superstar and Professional Wrestling Legend, formerly known as “The Ultimate Warrior”. Following the video package you will see The Voice of APW strut his stuff in front of 17,000 amazing fans. We thank the management of NWE for extending this opportunity to Markus. As much as we all look forward to the return of Marcus to Gym Wars, it won’t be July 12th because he is tying the knot and getting married. Congratulations to Markus Mac on his recent tour and his wedding on July 12th and help us welcome him back and congratulate him by posting your comment below. Markus holds a special place in many of our hearts as we remember Markus when he was 13 and attending gym wars in 1997 and hiding under cars to watch the APW wrestlers come out of the famous garage until finally we extended an invitation for Markus to join us for breakfast. Talk about loyalty!
Saturday night, 6-14-08, at APW Gym Wars live from the famous APW Garage in Hayward, CA, The Boss Derek Sanders cemented his legacy in APW History by becoming a Triple Crown Champion, when he defeated The American Renegade Nate Rulez for the APW World Wide Internet Championship. And in the other half of our double main event, Old School Oliver John became a two time APW Universal Heavyweight Champion by defeating Mr. Prime Time MPT in what is sure to be labeled an instant classic. After the show, our cameras caught up with the new champs, and did they have a lot to say….
