Accomplishments
The following accomplishments are some of the reasons why the APW Boot Camp has become the #1 Wrestling School in the country:

  • Cheerleader Melissa joins Taylor from ToughEnough on ARSION tour in Japan.
  • APW BOOT CAMP signs Shawn Michaels trainee and former WWF Developmental contract wrestler, American Dragon to become part of the instructing team.
  • Cheerleader Melissa is selected as a semi-finalist by WWF/MTV for Tough Enough2 and receives tryout in front of Al Snow, Bob Holly and MTV executives.
  • Giant Dalip Singh tours for NEW JAPAN on a regular basis.
  • Michael Modest, Donovan Morgan, Bison Smith and Jardi Frantz tour for PRO WRESTLING NOAH in Japan.
  • New Japan management team of former pro wrestling greats, Masa Saito and Brad Rhengans visit the APW BOOT CAMP and scout Dalip Singh.
  • Pro Wrestling NOAH's President, Mitsuharu Misawa and managing partner, Mr. Nikata plus the NOAH production crew and the Japanese press visit APW Boot Camp to scout for pro wrestling talent.
  • Spike Dudley signs WWF contract.
  • Michael Modest signs WCW contract.
  • Donovan Morgan is named "2001 Cauliflower Alley Future Legend".  He is the second recipient the first being WWF's Kurt Angle.
  • Tony Jones tours for BattleArts in Japan.
  • Motion Picture "Beyond the Mat" is released into theaters, home video, DVD and cable television.  APW Boot Camp was the training school selected of all the schools to be featured in the film and two of its graduates, Michael Modest and Tony Jones were in the film as well.
  • Kevin Sullivan of WCW offers Michael Modest a tryout at a Nitro television taping in Florida.
  • WCW scout, Jim Barnett comes to California to scout the APW Boot Camp.
  • Michael Modest signs Urban Wrestling League contract.
  • Michael Modest is named #1 independent wrestler in the U.S. and Canada by a panel of five independent wrestling experts on the WHOO! Top 50
  • Crash Holly joins WWF.
  • "Brown Bomber" Robert Thompson turns down a second offer to join ECW to stay with All Pro Wrestling
  • Vic Grimes and Erin O'Grady receive a Developmental contract from the WWF 1998
  • Tony Jones and Michael Modest recieve a WWF tryout match during their "Raw is War" program in September of 98
  • Maxx Justice, Donovan Morgan, Robert Thompson and Michael Modest all receive a tryout match on WCW's "Monday Nitro" in July of 98'. WCW Talent Scout, Paul Orndorf was vocal about his pleasure in watching the men wrestle, and invites them back for a future date
  • Vic Grimes and Erin O'Grady receive a tryout on the WWF program "Raw is War" in February 98'. Following the tryout, both men sign conditional contracts with the promotion
  • Matt Hyson, all 150 pounds of him, started wrestling for ECW in September 96
  • Otto Wanz inquired about the graduates from this camp. Mr. Wanz promotes pro wrestling all over Europe including Germany and Austria
  • Mike Diamond received a tryout with the WWF in October 1996
  • Mike Modest received a tryout with the WWF in January 1996
  • WWF management was impressed by and requested the use of students at future television tapings. This happened at the Superstars tapings in California following the Royal Rumble tour
  • Mike Diamond & Mike Modest made their debut as La Migra (Border Patrol) at the famous L.A. Forum in November 1995 for IWC/EMLL major lucha show headlined by Negro Casas vs. El Hijo del Santo
  • Super Diablo was booked in a dark match at "When Worlds Collide" pay-per-view in Los Angeles in November 1994 against Al Snow
  • Mike Diamond makes pro debut with the Global Wrestling Federation (GWF) at the famous Dallas Sportatorium back in September 1993
