Signed for this Gym Wars event is a return match from last November, as APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Malachi defends his title against the former champion Dylan Drake in a rematch of their classic.
Every champion has a rematch clause in their contract, and Dylan Drake is primed and ready to reclaim the Universal Heavyweight Championship. In their first match, Dylan Drake was dominated by The Association’s monster. No matter what Dylan Drake did, he could never come up with an answer to defeat Malachi.
Dylan Drake nearly locked his on his Sharpshooter submission, but Malachi powered out of each time. Dylan Drake says that he can and will lock on that Sharpshooter hold and regain the championship. Malachi is going use the same game plan as when he won the title, ring control, power moves and the big boot to the face.
The matches keep getting bigger and bigger as “The Nice Guy” Vinny Massaro is sending his Association’s “The Hangman” Dalton Frost out to take care of the APW’s prized rookie, “Big Country” Jody Kristofferson.
After defeating Vinny Massaro in a “10 Lashes To The Loser Match”, Dave Dutra gave five of his lashings to Jody who also was bullied throughout 2009. Jody laid in those five shots with everything he had. After the lashings, Vinny Massaro has made Jody his number one target and he is sending “The Hangman” to teach Jody a lesson.
Is Vinny scared of Jody? Or does “The Nice Guy” not want to get his hands dirty in the destruction of Jody Kristofferson? “Big Country” has never backed down from a fight and he is looking to get in the ring with his fellow Texan and battle it out.
