The wrestling world lost a long-time colleague in Dr. Death Steve Williams late Tuesday night after a lengthy battle with throat cancer. Everyone at All Pro Wrestling wishes our deepest condolences to the friends and family of this true tough guy of the squared circle.
Signed for this Gym Wars event is a return match from last November, as APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Malachi defends his title against the former champion Dylan Drake in a rematch of their classic.
Every champion has a rematch clause in their contract, and Dylan Drake is primed and ready to reclaim the Universal Heavyweight Championship. In their first match, Dylan Drake was dominated by The Association’s monster. No matter what Dylan Drake did, he could never come up with an answer to defeat Malachi.
Dylan Drake nearly locked his on his Sharpshooter submission, but Malachi powered out of each time. Dylan Drake says that he can and will lock on that Sharpshooter hold and regain the championship. Malachi is going use the same game plan as when he won the title, ring control, power moves and the big boot to the face.
The matches keep getting bigger and bigger as “The Nice Guy” Vinny Massaro is sending his Association’s “The Hangman” Dalton Frost out to take care of the APW’s prized rookie, “Big Country” Jody Kristofferson.
After defeating Vinny Massaro in a “10 Lashes To The Loser Match”, Dave Dutra gave five of his lashings to Jody who also was bullied throughout 2009. Jody laid in those five shots with everything he had. After the lashings, Vinny Massaro has made Jody his number one target and he is sending “The Hangman” to teach Jody a lesson.
Is Vinny scared of Jody? Or does “The Nice Guy” not want to get his hands dirty in the destruction of Jody Kristofferson? “Big Country” has never backed down from a fight and he is looking to get in the ring with his fellow Texan and battle it out.

2009 was an exciting for All Pro Wrestling, and 2010 promises to be even hotter with our Gym Wars events. Keeping the holiday spirits alive a few weeks after Christmas, All Pro Wrestling will hold at Gym Wars our second annual PICK THE WINNER BATTLE ROYAL!
“Pick The Winner” Battle Royal is an interactive match where you the wrestling fan can win prizes. Here are the rules of the “Pick The Winner” Battle Royal.
1) For $1 fans can purchase a ticket to enter into the “Pick The Winner” Battle Royal. If you spend $5 you get 7 tickets, $10 you get 12 tickets, and $20 gets you 25 tickets.
2) At the end of intermission we will draw 20 tickets out of the bowl. If your ticket number is drawn, you will then come up and pick a card out of the second bowl. On that card will be a name of a wrestler in the Battle Royal. In the Battle Royal that wrestler is YOUR WRESTLER!
EXAMPLE: If the name of the card you picked is “Double D” Dave Dutra, then Dave Dutra is YOUR WRESTLER in the Battle Royal. If Dave Dutra wins the Battle Royal then YOU will win the gift basket of various WWE merchandise and other prizes totaling a value of $100.
3) There is no limit to how many tickets you can purchase. You can possibly have one, two or maybe even three wrestlers depending how many tickets you purchased are picked.
The wrestler who wins the Pick The Winner Battle Royal will earn an APW World Wide Internet Heavyweight Title shot at the following Gym Wars event in February. So it will be a win-win situation for everyone. The winner of the Battle Royal gets a title shot and the fan who’s wrestler wins the Battle Royal wins the gift prizes!
Also signed for Gym Wars is a return match for the APW World Wide Internet Heavyweight Championship. Mr. Wrestling #4 will receive his final shot at “The British Messiah” Timothy Thatcher’s championship. All Pro Wrestling’s championship committee has stated that if Mr. Wrestling #4 does not defeat Thatcher for the title, then this will be Mr. Wrestling #4’s last shot at the title as long as Thatcher is champion.

“The British Messiah” Timothy Thatcher retained his championship against Mr. Wrestling #4 in a classic encounter that is probably one of the greatest APW World Wide Internet title matches of all time to a draw when both men scored a round each.
ROUND 1: 5:00 draw
ROUND 2: Thatcher made #4 submit to the “Thatcher Stretch” in 2:54
ROUND 3: 5:00 draw
ROUND 4: 5:00 draw
ROUND 5: #4 pinned Thatcher with a backslide in 36 seconds!
ROUND 6: 5:00 draw
After the match, APW Championship Committee member John LaRocca said he could not authorize another round since the contract was signed by both men for six rounds. But, since nothing was settled in this match, he did sign that on at our next Gym Wars event on Saturday, January 16th that APW World Wide Internet Heavyweight Champion Timothy Thatcher would defend once again against Mr. Wrestling #4. John LaRocca did state that if Mr. Wrestling #4 did not defeat Timothy Thatcher on January 16th, then that would be his last shot at the APW World Wide Internet Championship as long as Thatcher is champion.

We regret to inform you that due to a severe snowstorm on the California/Nevada border, the out of state members of the All Pro Wrestling roster will be unable to attend Kristmas Kaos! The Universal Heavyweight Champion Malachi, The Reno Scum of Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstowe, “The Wrecking Ball” Paul Isadora, and “Hard” Cory Dayton will not be able to fill their slots in matches tonight.
But, the show WILL go on! Who will step up to take these vacancies? Any young lion at APW is sure to be petitioning Commissioner JJ Perez to take on any one of these main event wrestlers in the final APW Gym Wars of 2009.
