California’s Great America hosted a Youth Sports Day with a heavy corner stone of Northern Californian Pro Wrestling sponsored in part by All Pro Wrestling.
All Pro Wrestling wishes to thank all the crew and staff of California’s Great America, Licorice Joe, and of course the hard working Boot Camp students who committed their entire Saturday from 6:30 am Saturday to 2:00 am Sunday working ring crew, security, and as gofers for anything and everything needed by those running the show.
And a very special thanks goes to longtime APW photographer Butch who assembled this unmatched amount of broad talent from all across the Northern Californian Wrestling scene.
The results of this intense show are as follows:
Otis the Big Trucker crushes “The Showcase” Johnny Plinko and “Insane” Mike Rayne after a big splash on Pinko and the pin.
The Channel Surfers defeat The Associates w/ Buddy Sotello, ESQ. in a hard hitting contest that ended with a Heart Attack and a pin!
Christina Von Eerie gets the better of the debuting El Leopardo Loco w/ Buddy Sotello, ESQ. after dizzying the beast with his cat toy and managing to catch the pin.
Kid Omega & Chicano Flame dual pin “The Latin Dragon” Junior Morales & Corvus when Omega reverses Corvus’s reversal of Flame’s rollup on Junior Morales.
El Chupacabra hits the Adios Bomb and pins Kimo Kanaloa in a triple threat match that featured Shinobie.
Davina Rose defeats “Glamorous” Ryan Von Kool in a match that featured two of the best that fellow Bay Area Wrestling Promotion, Big Time Wrestling, has to offer!
Jeckles the Jester w/ Freckles captured the win via quick rollup on “Shooter” Tony Jones w/ Matthew Theall, when Jones accidentally knocked Theall off the apron.
“The Son of a Highway Man” Jody Kristofferson teamed with fellow APW Boot Camp Graduate Killer J Mattias & “Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe to take on Vennis DeMarco, “The Nice Guy” Vinnie Massaro, & “The Mountain from Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell and captured the victory when Thornstowe connected the superkick on DeMarco and completing the pin!
After that match, Blackwell, Massaro, and DeMarco used their combined strength to beat down the winning team and were saved only the bravery of Kryptonite, a steel chair, and the rest of the locker room. Vinnie Massaro then promised revenge in the night’s Main Event: The 20 Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal!
Kryptonite eliminated “The Mountain from Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell with the assist of “Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe to win the Battle Royal, which featured the Pro Wrestling debut of APW Boot Camp Student Tremayne Jones.
Blackwell was none too pleased with this and reentered the ring to give Kryptonie a few words… and a few boots. Luckly, Adam Thornstowe still had the presence of mind to hop into the ring and give Blackwell the biggest superkick ever within the boundaries of Great America! Kryptonite celebrated his victory over the fallen body of Larry Blackwell much to the adjulation of adoring fans who gathered in the hundreds to witness this epic confrontation.
