MALACHI will meet “The Mountain From Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell one on one!
Larry Blackwell has been crushing his opponents since his return to APW. Blackwell doesn’t care who gets in his way, he is going to destroy them. The BIG SPLASH finishing move has brought Blackwell all his victories in APW, and he plans on using it to be the first man to pin Malachi’s shoulders to the mat in 2009.
Malachi since his APW debut last September has grown into one of the most popular wrestlers in APW today. With the powerful BIG BOOT TO THE FACE, Malachi has been rolling over any opponent put in front of him. Will he be able to move “The Mountain From Stone Mountain”??? Or will Blackwell stop Malachi’s winning ways in APW on the 20th?
APW Internet Heavyweight Champion, “The British Messiah” Timothy Thatcher returns to APW after his successful tour of Europe in the month of May. Thatcher said he was bored of the competition here in the United States and wanted to go test the competitors in his home land. Coming back to All Pro Wrestling, the APW Internet Champion finds himself in a match across the ring from his past, present and possible future Internet title contenders.
On June 20th, “The British Messiah” Timothy Thatcher will team with “The Boss” Derek Sanders and Corvus taking the six man team of former APW World Wide Internet Heavyweight Champion, Jeckles The Jester, “The Latin Dragon” Junior Morales and Kid Omega.
The last time Thatcher was in APW was on April 11th when he defeated Kid Omega’s protege Morales in a hard fought match. After defeating Morales, Thatcher tried to injure the young rookie and tear his shoulder out of his socket by not releasing the “Thatcher-Stretch” hold after the bell. Luckily, Kid Omega quickly ran in and stopped Thatcher before Morales was permanently injured.
“The British Messiah” was upset that Kid Omega stuck his nose in his business and also came out to help his “little buddy”. Thatcher said if he wanted to fight they could do it right now. Omega accepted, and these two went at it tooth and nail. Quickly, Omega gained the upper hand in this fight and Thatcher quickly bailed out of the ring.
In this SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH you can bet Kid Omega is looking to get his hands on APW World Wide Internet Heavyweight Champion on June 20th.
Marcus Mack the “Voice Of APW” has been trying since our last Gym Wars event to get a word from “The Association”. Rumors have been flying around APW since our last event about “The Association” disbanding. Another rumor is that “The Association” is going to announce a new member to the unit.
After Adam Thornstowe and MPT defeated Association members Vinny Massaro and Rik Luxury at Gym Wars on May 15th, Massaro and Luxury got into a heated verbal confrontation. Massaro blamed Luxury for the loss, and Luxury blamed Massaro.
Later after Dylan Drake successfully retained the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship against Association leader “Old School” Oliver John in a classic battle, Rik Luxury and Vinny Massaro tried to attack the champion, but they where held back by Oliver John.
Oliver John and Vinny Massaro had a confrontation as Massaro wanted to take out Drake, but Oliver John said no and told Luxury to take Vinny to the back. Massaro upset, stormed off and Luxury followed. Oliver John extended his hand to Dylan Drake in a sign that Dylan Drake has finally gotten his respect after their long feud.
The following night in King City, California, The Association came up again on the losing end of the main event six man tag team match against Adam Thornstowe, MPT and Mr. Wrestling #4. Marcus Mack again tried to get an interview with the most dominate group in APW history, but their locker room door was locked shut. Marcus reported he could hear a lot of yelling and screaming from the locker room with each Association member putting the blame on the other.
Marcus has finally been able to get an interview with “The Association” and that interview will take place inside the middle of the ring at Gym Wars on Saturday, June 20th. Will “The Association” clear up rumors of their elite group disbanding? Or will the rumor become a reality of the announcement of a new member to the “The Association”.
Not only will we have that interview but “Old School” Oliver John and “The Nice Guy” Vinny Massaro will be in tag team action against “Out of Control” Matt Carlos and “Double D” Dave Dutra. Oliver John and Vinny Massaro want to start the winning ways of “The Association” once again against two APW rookie sensations!
