Strongman wins again!

“Strongman” Jon Anderson gained another victory last night at the IGF (Inoki Genome Federation) show in Hakadate, Japan at an arena named after a town. He defeated a Sumo Wrestler with a “Powerful Headlock”. With the success of Anderson’s first tour, there is a strong possibility that Jon will return for another tour in the very near future. It is good to see an APW graduate, besides Bison Smith, once again touring in the Orient. Speaking of Bison Smith, it is our understanding he was recently on tour with Pro Wrestling Noah in the U.K. Congratulations to all of the APW graduates who are enjoying success in the world of Professional Wrestling - the list is long!

“Asian Sensation” Returns to ring…

It has been a while since we’ve seen the Triple Crown Champion, the “Asian Sensation” Dana Lee in an APW ring. Sources tell us he has been nursing some injuries sustained in his Internet Title defense against Brian Cage back in February. Although Dana has not been seen around APW, those same sources tell us he has been training while waiting patiently to get back into the squared circle. Will we see the Asian Sensation try and reclaim APW Championship Gold? Will he return to APW with a new tag partner and chase Tag-Team Championship Gold? Or, will Dana focus on singles competition and chase those golds? Only time will tell and we may soon have answers as the first big step for Dana will be when he returns to the ring on Saturday July 12th, 2008 at the famous APW Garage where Gym Wars returns. Jon Anderson fights in Japan…

As many of you know, Jon Anderson from Strongman competition, who many of you have seen on ESPN and Fox Sports, received some private training in 2007 at the APW Boot Camp. Jon has been getting his feet wet by wrestling matches for APW, PCW and Pro Wrestling-Revolution since making his pro debut for APW. Jon is a real student of the game and takes his training seriously. Jon has also been training at an MMA dojo for the last few months. His MMA training and private training at the APW Boot Camp has been very rewarding for Jon. Mr. Anderson went on his first tour of Japan and last night had his first match in Japan. Jon Anderson fought Alexander Otsuka at the Tsukishima Dome. Jon suffered a black eye and his opponent a bloody nose but the promoters and fans enjoyed this competitive fight. Jon still has another fight but says he is alright and looks forward to returning to an APW ring soon to resume his training and wrestling. We look forward to his return and seeing him compete in some of the local promotions in Northern and Southern California. We will update you as more information becomes available.

Thank you very much!!!

All Pro Wrestling would like to take the time to say thank you to all of our great fans and everyone else that supports or has supported APW over the years for a great first half 2008. We have all had a great time with all of the events that we’ve had this year, from Kafu’s farewell show in January to King City to the very last Gym Wars throughout the first half of 2008. When you support Gym Wars and other APW events, you are supporting the APW Boot Camp. The APW Boot Camp continues to fulfill wrestling fans’ dreams each and every year. It is with the APW fan support and hard working volunteers, students and wrestlers that allows many to fulfill their dreams whether they want to be wrestlers, valets, refs, ring announcers, bookers and even promoters. There are many dreams that come true even if they never make it to the big time.

We hope that you have enjoyed yourself as much as we have during this time and we look forward to continuing to strive for the excellence that APW has always had and will continue to have into the future.

We just completed testing the Beginners from the JANUARY 2008 CAMP and I must say it was an impressive group of survivors. Many thanks go out to Dave Dutra, Jody Kristofferson, Ervin Blacksure, Tremayne Jones and our female ring announcer tough gal, Lil Salazar. It always amazes me when a female survives a group of 20 but then again, many including the likes of TNA’s Cheerleader Melissa, Sara Del Rey and Tiffany paved the way and set great examples. Everyone scored high on the written and in-ring skill tests this past week. The highest scores will be moving on to the Advanced Fundamentals which Semi-Pro Camp offers. We thank all the hard working students as we now prepare for a new camp starting in July that will be 20 deep. Thanks also go out to our trainers, Robert Thompson, J. J. Perez, Dana Lee, Jeckles and Jardi Frantz. They did an outstanding job of grooming the students for the next big step.

With the upcoming debuts of more of our Semi-Pro Camp talent, we are sure that you will enjoy what APW has to offer for the 2nd half of 2008. Again, thank you very much for all of your support and we will see you at our next Gym Wars Saturday July 12, 2008. Keep those canned food and unopened toys coming because your contributions bring a smile to the faces of those in need. We Can’t end this without thanking all of the graduated wrestlers, students and hard working volunteers. Without them and the fans, there would not be an APW. We encourage APW fans to spread the word about Gym Wars and the APW Boot Camp because at the famous Garage, you are seeing the future of pro wrestling today!

The Voice of All Pro Wrestling and World Wide

APW not only opens doors for our wrestlers, managers, refs, and valets, but for our announcers as well. The Voice of All Pro Wrestling Markus Mac has gone INTERNATIONAL as he is currently on a three week tour of Europe. He is currently on tour with Rikishi, Black Pearl, Chris Masters, Vito, and Rob Van Dam. WWE Legend Ultimate Warrior will be making his return on this tour as he joins it in progress. 15,000 tickets have already been sold for his return show.

I personally have spoken with the Godfather of All Pro Wrestling Roland Alexander, who has been in contact with Markus Mac, and he has informed me that while overseas Markus has been calling APW his home promotion. The response that he is getting? “OH YEAH APW! How are things? Hows Roland doing?”. As you can see we have a very large following around the world and cannot wait to hear more from Markus Mac as he continues his tour. Please check our message boards from time to time for updates from Markus.

For now we leave you with this video of The Voice of All Pro Wrestling in the ring with Rob Van Dam in Spain.

WANTED: $2,500 REWARD FOR THE MASK OF MR. WRESTLING #IV!

It has been brought to my attention by several APW Boot Camp trainees that the above poster has been circulating around the famous APW garage. As APW Commissioner, I have sworn to uphold the rules and regulations of the Pro Wrestling Council and will do my best to investigate this matter. I have already begun my investigation and hope to have made some tremendous progress by showtime Saturday evening. I further promise to address this matter prior to the start of our Gym Wars show this Saturday evening, June 14th.

I have personally spoken with Mr. Wrestling #4 and he conveyed to me that his only concern is to win the match with Rik Luxury and move up the rankings of All Pro Wrestling. Mr. Wrestling #4 has asked all the APW fans to come out and support him in his match by reserving your tickets HERE.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Bell Time is 7:00 p.m.

Sincerely,

J. J. Perez

Commissioner

GYM WARS 6/14/08

There have been many questions over the last few weeks and most of those questions should be answered this Saturday 6/14/08 with a 7 PM bell time at the famous APW Garage when GYM WARS returns.

As part of a double main event, a Worldwide Internet Champion will be crowned when EGO tag-partners Nathaniel Rulez squares up with Derek Sanders. Who will win? Whose corner will the very lovely Payton stand in? In the other half of the double main event, MPT defends the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship when he takes on Oliver John. Will anyone be concerned with the title or will the grudge MPT holds take on more importance than the championship itself?

Also, the return of Vinny Massarro in his first appearance since late 2001 along with the debut of Timothy Thatcher should make every Gym Wars fan want to be in attendance for this event.

To reserve your tickets, click the TICKET RESERVATIONS and reserve your tickets. Please don’t forget although gym wars is FREE, you must bring 3 canned goods and an unopened toy.
